JAN ORDON, LMT
Owner, Therapeutic Massage & Bodyworks of WNY PLLC
I have been practicing for 12 years in the massage field, nine of them right here in Lancaster. I believe in continuing my education and feel it benefits every client in many ways. I enjoy customizing every massage to make it "therapeutic" and watch as every person I've worked on walk out with relief--- be it body, mind or soul.
Learning Cranial Sacral & Lymphatic massage, (a medical massage which includes myofascial release), stretching, positional release, strain/counter strain, and muscle energy technique have helped me to better understand chronic pain and injury problems and how to customize each persons complaint to help give relief. I also enjoy giving pregnancy massages for moms-to-be.
I love what I do and I am grateful for being able to have an opportunity to practice and help all who walk into my office. Working with my son Justin has also made all my wishes come true. I live by the motto: WATCH WHAT YOU WISH FOR, because I've never known it not to come true.
JUSTIN ORDON, LMT
I have eight years of experience in the massage field and I have also studied Physical Therapy and Physical Fitness Technology in places right here in Western New York and also in Charlotte, N.C. My extensive background in athletics and conditioning, along with my education, help me to understand and develop an inside knowledge of the human body and its various functions.
My currrent certifications include Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Strength Training Specialist and Certified Personal Trainer. I continue to educate myself in these and other areas to help my clients with their treatments and send them on the road to better health and wellness.
Massage therapy has many benefits for the individual, increasing self-awareness, clearning your mind, improving circulation, flushing metabolic waste and promoting relaxation to name just a few. Most importantly, it helps to identify the wearing effects of life's stresses on your body.
I enjoy using and sharing my knowledge and abilities to help encourage your health. I look forward to my future in this field and I invite you to come and see me, to see what I can do for you.
TERESA LIRUSSI, LMT
I graduated from the New York Institute of Massage in 2007. I am very fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Jan and Justin Ordon, both highly regarded Massage Therapists in the community. They have both helped me become a better therapist in many ways.
Not only can I help you with basic Swedish Massage for stress relief, but I can also help with medical related massage including Cranial Sacral. Medical aspects of therapeutic massage have endless advantages in helping chronic pain, muscular injuries, sport injuries, whiplash, migraine headaches, TMJ and much, much more.
I am so privileged to be part of a profession that can improve people's lives both physically and mentally. I look forward to the opportunity to help you experience a positive improvement through massage therapy.
I am now certified to incorporate reflexology into my massage sessions and would also be happy to do your Ionic Foot Detox Bath!
Schedule an appointment and start yourself on the road to better health. "Human touch... Nothing better!"
